Born in LOUISVILLE Kentucky on December 29, 1981. HE WEIGHED 8 LBS 1 OZ. AND WAS 20 INCHES LONG. HE HAD A VERY ROUGH START AND WAS SEIZING FROM BIRTH. HE SPENT 2 WEEKS IN NICU AND WAS A WEEK OLD BEFORE I EVER GOT TO SEE HIM FOR THE VERY FIRST TIME.did they not know how cruel it is to take a baby from his mommy and not tell her anything for 1 week they had me in isolation for 1 week because they said i gave him and infection which was not true but they did not want to admitt that they had mad a horrible mistake that would effect the lives of many people and cause a precious child to suffer for 16 years |

christopher has been very sick for two weeks we have been to the local hospital every other day for 14 days now. they first tell us he has and ear infection then 10 days later they tell us it takes 2 weeks for medicine to work and finally they tell us he is just a spoilt brat that wants to be held and not bring him back to hospital or he will be denied admission this is the last time we ever visited that hospital |

the day after the incident with the local hospital we rushed chris to the kosair children's hospital in lousiville ky and was told if we had been 15 min later there would have been no chance of saving him even before the spinal tap they knew he had miningitis and was in the hospital for 33 days. this is our first visit to kosair children's hospital and little did we know there would be a second family formed here that would last through the next 15 years |

CHRISTOPHER GOT A NEW BABY SISTER WEIGHING IN AT 7 LBS. 14 OZ. AND MEASURING 22 INCHES LONG CHRIS LOVED HER FROM THE START AND HE HAD HER HEART FROM THE TIME SHE WAS 1 DAY OLD. SHE WAS TO BECOME NOT ONLY A LOVING, DEVOTED SISTER BUT ALSO A LITTLE MOMMY TO HER BROTHER. SHE WAS RIGHT THERE THE SEC HE CRIED AND SHE HAD TO HOLD HIM EVERY DAY EVEN THOUGH HE WAS TWICE AS BIG AS SHE WAS |

christopher is back in the hospital he is now getting a g-tube so he can be fed straight into his stomach. they have found out that his food has been going into his lungs and that is why he keeps getting pnumonia there is a flap that works backwards and it should close each time he swallows but instead it opens. i am terrified but the doctors assure me he will be fine and they prayed before the surgery. guess what everything went fine and he was home 3 days later and started gaining a little weight the drs do not want him to get very big because his organs would not be able to handle the weight |

TODAY IS MOTHER'S DAY AND CHRISTOPHER GOT ANOTHER BABY SISTER WEIGHING IN AT 8 LBS. 2 OZ. AND MEASURING 20 INCHES LONG. HE LOVED HIS NEW SISTER AND HIS SISTER LOVED HIM VERY MUCH BOTH SISTERS WOULD SPEND THE EARLY YEARS OF THEIR LIVES LOVING AND PROTECTING THEIR BIG BABY BROTHER |

chris is back to hospital again this time to have surgery on his legs he needs to have ham string in each leg lenghten so he can streatch his legs all the way .out he comes though the surgery fine and is only on morphine for 2 days. he has to have the caste on for 8 weeks and you can only imagine carring a 4 and a half year old little boy that has both legs stuck straight out this is also the time they decide to send him to school this did not last long because there was too many germs. but i am proud that they graduated him from pre school even though he had only been there 2 weeks he has ended up back in the hospital again a very sick little man |

chris back in hospital again just 1 day before casts are due to come off fever of 105 and because they poured ice on him he now has pnumonia they know he has an infection but think it is the pnumonia they postpone taking casts off for 3 more days they finally take casts off to see if infections is comming from legs and we got a big suprise he had chicken pox he only broke out on his legs because of the casts keeping his legs so hot but once the casts came off every inch of his body was covered you could not have touched him with a pin without touching a pox he pulled through once again and was home in 2 weeks |

we have finally decided to let the the drs put a trac in christopher the surgery goes fine but sometime during surgery they scratch his eyeball and he is on morhine 4 days because of that pain the trac is not as scary as we thought and he is starting to gain weight already they said he would not be able to talk or make sounds but he suprised them all and you can here him cry and try to make his baby sounds i do not know why i waited so long to let them do this he is such a happy, baby now i have never heard him laugh so much yes it is scarey and alot of work but it is worth all the sleepless hours to just see him grow strong |

TODAY WE BECOME A FAMILY. CHRIS IS THE BEST MAN AT HIS MOMMY AND DADDY ERIK'S WEDDING. HE CRIED DURING THE WHOLE CEREMONY BUT ONLY BECAUSE HE HAD TO DRESS UP AND THAT IS THE ONE THING HE HATED TO DO. AS SOON AS THE CEREMONY WAS OVER AND I COULD HOLD HIM HE WAS FINE AND WENT TO SLEEP WITH A SMILE ON HIS FACE HE KNEW AT LAST HE HAD A DADDY THAT WOULD LOVE AND PROTECT HIM FOR AS LONG AS POSSIBLE. |

CHRIS IS SPENDING WHAT WAS TO BECOME HIS LAST TIME IN THE HOSPITAL. HE HAS BEEN HERE A MONTH BECAUSE OF INFLUENZA AND THEN PNUMONIA. I GUESS THE LORD KNEW THIS WOULD BE THE LAST CHRISTMAS WE HAD OUR ANGEL BECAUSE IT WAS THE BEST CHRISTMAS MY CHILDREN HAD EVER HAD, IF WE HAD ONLY KNOWN THAT IN LESS THAN 5 MONTHS WE WOULD HAVE ONLY MEMORIES TO HOLD. MAYBE IF WE KNEW WE WOULD HAVE HELD CHRIS A LITTLE TIGHTER AND TOLD HIM A MILLION TIMES MORE HOW MUCH WE LOVED HIM |

Passed away on May 13, 1998 at the age of 16. CHRIS WAS FOUND NOT BREATHING ON MAY 12 AND EVERYTHING WAS DONE TO KEEP HIM WITH US BUT IT WAS BEYOND ALL OUR POWERS I FEEL THAT CHRIS DECIDED HE COULD FIGHT NO LONGER AND SINCE HIS BABY SISTER HAD TURNED 13 THEN HIS JOB OF PROTECTING THEM WAS DONE AND HE NEEDED TO GO WITH THE ANGELS SO HE COULD RUN AND CELEBRATE LIKE HE HAD NEVER DONE BEFORE. HE FOUGHT A LONG HARD FIGHT AND MAYBE SOMEDAY WHEN I TAKE HIM IN MY ARMS FOEREVER THEN I WILL KNOW WHAT HIS PURPOSE ON EARTH WAS BUT THEN MAYBE HIS PUPOSE WAS JUST TO TEACH PEOPLE THAT YOU LOVE PEOPLE FOR WHAT THEY CAN'T DO INSTEAD OF LOVING SOMEONE BECAUSE THEY ARE RICH OR HEALTHY CHRIS WAS THE RICHEST PERSON I KNOW BECAUSE HE HAD A HEART BIGGER THAN THE WHOLE WIDE WORLD

 WE FOUND OUT TODAY THAT CHRIS IS GOING TO BE AN UNCLE NEXT MAY. WE KNOW HE IS JUMPING FOR JOY UP ON THE CLOUDS BECAUSE HE LOVES BABIES SO MUCH. I KNOW HE IS WATCHING OVER HIS YOUNGEST SISTER AND HE IS UP THERE RIGHT NOW DECIDING WHICH ANGEL IS GOING TO COME INTO OUR LIVES, I KNOW HE WILL PICK A VERY SPECIAL ANGEL FOR US BUT I AM SURE HE IS GOING TO TELL THE BABY TO REALLY AGGRAVATE KIMBERLEE AND ANGELA LOL |

I GUESS CHRISTOPHER FINALLY PICKED OUT THE ANGEL HE WANTS TO SEND TO HIS BABY SISSY BECAUSE WE FOUND OUT TODAY THAT ALYSSA MARIE WILL BE JOINING OUR FAMILY ON MAY 22,2007. WE CAN'T WAIT AND MAYBE IF SHE COMES A LITTLE EARLY IT WILL BE BECAUSE CHRISTOPHER CHOSE ANOTHER DATE IN MAY TO LET US KNOW THAT WE LOST 1 ANGEL IN MAY BUT THEN GAINED ANOTHER ANGEL IN MAY AND THAT HE WILL ALWAYS BE ALYSSA'S GUARDIAN ANGEL.. |

Christopher has decided it is time to meet Alyssa marie. She is going to be here tomorrow morning due to the fact that Kimberlee had a seizure today and the Drs. don't want to put her or the baby in any more danger. |

Alyssa is here and she is beautiful. She looks just like her uncle Chris. She weighs 4lbs. 15 oz and is 17 in. long. She is so tiny but she is doing great and never went to the nicu. she went home at 3 days old. |
